 Bharat OS is an Indian operating system developed by the Centre for Development of Advanced  Computing( C- DAC) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. It was launched in August 2017 with the aim of furnishing an indigenous volition to Android and iOS. 



  Bharat OS is designed to be an open- source and secure mobile operating system for government use. It  uses a Linux- grounded kernel and Sandboxing technology to give a secure terrain for users. Bharat OS also uses an app store analogous to Google Play Store, and users can download apps from it.
